What are the site setup requirements?

Do you provide rentals out side Northland?
We provide rental cabins to the following regions Whangarei, Daragaville, Keri Keri, Russell, Pihia etc. However if you are interested in somewhere outside these areas contact us as we maybe able to help in putting you in touch with an associated rental provider.
Is a credit check required?
Yes we conduct a credit check, please see our lease application page for more details.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes for:
Commercial cabins - 3 months.
Residential cabins - 3 months.
Do we need a consent for these sleep out?
Since we manufacture caravans and portable cabins in most cases you don't need a building consent.
Where does the waste from the toilet go?
A Porta Potti chemical toilet is supplied with the cabin it has a holding tank underneath which needs to emptied, either down a toilet or sewage drain.
Where does the waste water from the bathroom go?
The drain can be drained into a bucket, or soak hole.
What are the site access and requirements?
A flat or near level site is required for the cabin, standard driveway needs clear space above, ie. check for over hanging trees and eaves of the house. Room is needed for manoeuvering and turning the cabin into position. Cabins are delivered either on a truck or towed.
How is the power connected?
We supply a caravan lead which can be plugged into a builders pole or a three pin plug at a house.
Do you deliver?
Yes - delivery charges specified on cabin info pages for Auckland region, otherwise we can quote on request. Delivery includes placement of cabin and leveling of cabin.
Is a bond required?
Yes a bond is required, the amount depends upon cabin type. See individual residential cabins for details. For commercial cabins we will discuss options.
